Receives Highest Rating of ‘Above Average’ in Statewide Patient Survey
For the
second year in a row, St. Joseph Hospital is the only facility in Orange
County to be awarded three stars – the highest rating possible – for overall
hospital performance in a survey sponsored by the California HealthCare
Foundation (CHCF) and the California Institute for Health Systems Performance
(CIHSP). Released today, the statewide survey worked in partnership with
200 participating California hospitals and evaluated the hospital experiences
of more than 36,000 patients who spent at least one night as an inpatient.
